2. Overview of Data Processing

We only process personal data of our users to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data only takes place with the consent of the user or when the processing is permitted by law.

We collect the following data:

  • Account data from Discord/Google during OAuth login
  • Hashed IP addresses for vote-spam prevention (24h)
  • User-uploaded images and server data
  • Technical access data (server logs)

3. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR – Consent (e.g., for cookies)
  • Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR – Contract fulfillment (e.g., providing the service)
  • Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR – Legitimate interest (e.g., spam prevention, security)

4. User Accounts (Discord & Google OAuth)

When you register via Discord or Google, we receive the following data from these services:

  • Your user ID at Discord/Google
  • Your public username
  • Your public profile picture (avatar)
  • Your email address (if included in the OAuth scope)

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract fulfillment to provide the service).

Storage duration: Until you delete your account.

5. IP Address Storage (Voting System)

To prevent abuse of our voting system (e.g., multiple voting), we store a hash of your IP address for a maximum of 24 hours.

  • The IP address is cryptographically hashed before storage
  • Tracing back to the original IP is not possible
  • The hash is automatically deleted after 24 hours

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the integrity of the voting system).

6. Database & Authentication (Supabase)

We use Supabase as a backend service for data storage and user authentication.

  • Server location: EU (Frankfurt, Germany)
  • Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy

Stored data: User profiles, server listings, voting data.

7. Image Hosting (Cloudinary)

For uploading and serving images (server banners, screenshots), we use Cloudinary.

  • Privacy policy: cloudinary.com/privacy

Processed data: Uploaded images are stored on Cloudinary servers and delivered via CDN.

8. Affiliate Links & Tracking

This website contains affiliate links to partners such as Nitrado and other hosting providers. When you click on an affiliate link, the following data may be processed:

  • Cookies to attribute your purchase to us
  • Referrer information
  • Click timestamps

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent by clicking on the link).

Cookies are set by the respective affiliate networks. For more information, please refer to their privacy policies.

9. Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address (anonymized)

This data is not combined with other data sources and is automatically deleted after 30 days.

10. Your Rights under GDPR

You have the following rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You can request information about your data stored with us.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You can request the correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You can request the deletion of your data (right to be forgotten).
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18 GDPR): You can request restriction of processing.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You can receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You can object to the processing of your data.
  • Right to complain: You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

11. Delete Account & Data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Go to your Dashboard, then Settings, then Delete Account. Alternatively, you can contact us by email.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to adapt it to changed legal situations or changes to the service. The current version can always be found on this page.
